Rick at BlogWorld Expo recently posted on his blog that “Press Releases Still Work.”
According to Rick, the morning after he released a press release announcing the dates of the 2009 BlogWorld & New Media Expo in Las Vegas (October 15th, 16th & 17th), there were some pretty good results:
- 22 people who linked to the press release via Twitter
- 3 full pages of results on http://search.twitter.com
- A post regarding the release at Market Watch & Yahoo Finance
This got me thinking, “gee, I should put out a few press releases for Wetoku.” Thus was born Wetoku’s first press release.
